This story began when I developed eczema for the first time at around 50. Not understanding what was happening to my skin I went to my doctor. Who diagnosed my eczema and prescribed steroid cream.
I had previously heard about topical steroid withdrawal so it was not a path I was willing to go down.
I visited my pharmacist instead. Who read through the ingredients of all his top-quality skin care products and finally said in his wonderful English accent:

Our base formula for all our products is:
Glycerine: a natural humectant that draws the water in your body and the surrounding air to your skin to moisturise. Coconut oil: to seal in the water and repair your skin barrier. These base ingredients work together to repair damaged, irritated skin and rejuvenate aging skin and scalps.
